The coast

Ardrossan

Ardrossan is a ferry town. You can walk the promenade, see the castle, and be on Arran the same morning if the sailing works.

Largs, Millport and the rest of the coast are an easy run out. The weather will do what it does.

South Beach and North Beach Ardrossan has both. South Beach is the town beach — sand and a promenade. The view over to Arran is from North Beach, not the south.
The Arran ferry CalMac from Ardrossan Harbour. The island is right there.
Ardrossan Castle The ruin above the town. About a 15-minute walk from The Bruadair.
